Our round-the-clock staff knows that being able to get outside and change your environment can come at any time when you are detoxing your body. This is why we’ve made our furnished patio available to patients at all hours. Our patio also allows patients to take smoke breaks throughout the day if they choose.
Eating meals at standard times can be difficult for patients going through addiction withdrawals. To accommodate those who’s appetites have returned outside of regular meal times, we offer an on-site cafe. Patients can access a number of food and beverage items 24/7 just outside their rooms.
Our board-certified medical staff provide a range of treatment options in both one-on-one and group settings. These include:
Psychoeducation is the first step in healing the mind of addiction. It combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with education in a group setting. The goal is to educate patients about addiction and the treatment options available to them so they can take part in their individual treatment plans and commit to the next phase of addiction treatment: rehab.
Upon intake, all patients undergo an extensive physical and mental evaluation to determine the exact treatment plan they will need to lessen withdrawal symptoms and identify any underlying mental illness contributing to their addiction. This exam helps our medical team create a personalized treatment plan and can be adapted as patients develop new symptoms or their needs change.
Arguably the primary objective in medical detoxification is the safe and comfortable cleansing of your body. This means identifying withdrawal symptoms and using oral medication to expedite the process and lessen the intensity of uncomfortable symptoms. In the case of alcohol detox and opioid detox (ie: prescription medication, heroin, fentanyl), managing these symptoms can save patients’ lives, as many of the withdrawal symptoms from these substances are life threatening.
Medical detox is focused on the first step of addiction treatment: cleansing the body. This is why detox often lasts for up to 7 days and is almost always followed by an inpatient or outpatient rehab stay. However, we want to ensure our patients begin the mental journey of addiction treatment and have each patient meet with our clinical team daily for one-on-one sessions.
At Scottsdale Detox, we’ve partnered with facilities across the continuum of care to ensure that our clients have support at all levels. Our case managers help patients move to one of our two luxury rehab centers in Scottsdale for continued inpatient treatment, or we can help them locate outpatient treatment options elsewhere.
Along with serving the greater Scottsdale area, Scottsdale Detox serves many surrounding communities including: Phoenix, Cave Creek, Paradise Valley, Rio Verde, and more. We are here to help as many people as possible.
Scottsdale Detox ensures patient safety with a 24/7 nursing staff, board-certified medical staff specialized in addiction treatment, and dedicated case managers to ensure you have help creating a treatment plan even after you leave our center. Our leadership team is made up of some of the best doctors and clinicians in the industry.
